Meet
Jamie Southerland
Jamie Southerland is a committed community leader, volunteer, promoter with a servant's heart for all.

She was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and moved to Lawton at the age of three. Raised in a military home, she moved around the world, but her heart always led her back to Lawton, where she fell in love with the community and raised her family.

Jamie is the mother of three adult sons, three amazing granddaughters, and two grandsons which she fondly refers to as her GrandGirls/Guys.
Jamie considers herself a “student for life,” a helper, and a bridge-builder. She is passionate about learning new things, teaching, and inspiring others, and she loves to bring people together and connect them to sources and opportunities.
She is adept at making others feel comfortable and enjoys meeting new friends.

Her love for the Lawton Fort Sill community is well known, and she has been recognized for it.
Jamie is a past recipient of Leadership Lawton’s “Rueben Brown Leadership” award and was recognized as a “Community Leader” by the Oklahoma Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship at their 2018 state convention.
She has served with many organizations in the past, such as; Lawton Fort Sill Chamber of Commerce, SW Oklahoma Human Resources Professionals, Toastmasters, Lawton Business Women, United Way, American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life, and the Next Step organization.
She currently serves as a small team leader in children's ministry and a facilitator for leadership classes at her church.
Jamie is a member of the Christian Motorcyclists Association and is on the advisory board for Fully Loaded Women's Organization.
Jamie is a graduate of the Institute for Organization Management and the Defense Information School - Public Affairs.

Many things from her past could have labeled her a “statistic,” but by God’s grace (gallons of it!), her faith, and a ton of grit, she has risen above the world’s expectations, and she presses on to her chosen path.
Jamie believes she is a flame for the Lord, a Phoenix, and that God’s beauty continues to rise from the ashes.

“It is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future.
It is a fervent wish that every cup may overflow with blessings rich and eternal
and that every path may lead to peace.”
- Agnes M. Pharo, writer

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV)
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

Jamie is not only a board member at the Fully Loaded Women's Organization, but she also leads classes, seminars, and events.
Her passion and heart are for ladies to find their purpose, discover their beauty from the inside out, learn to value themselves and, most importantly, acquire the ability to dream again!

She hosts a "Vision Board Class" where she leads participants through the process of creatively recording their dreams and goals which provides them with a visual reminder to assist in watching their dreams become realities.
Additionally, Jamie hosts an annual "Valentine's Celebration" for single ladies! At this special event, ladies are pampered to the highest degree and reminded of how deeply they’re loved and pursued by Jesus.
As mentioned before, Jamie has a special gift to mentor others and build leaders.
She does this through "Mentorship Programs," "Sister's R&R," through FLWO's online chats, and any other opportunity that arises.
